Job summary

ACUREN in Midland, TX is seeking NDT and RT Assistants to support field and shop operations. This full-time role requires willingness to work on-site and meet certification and safety requirements. You will set up NDT equipment, assist radiographers, record inspection results, and help with testing to detect discontinuities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Length: Full time

Pay: Based on experience and certifications

Location Requirements: We are currently seeking candidates who are based in or near Midland, TX. While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local candidates due to the on-site requirements of the positions.

Requirements

• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training(40RAD) preferred
• Valid TWIC card or able to obtain
• Local to Midland/Odessa area or willing to relocate
