Job summary

Acuren is recruiting NDT Assistants to support our operation in Billings, MT. You will assist in calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection according to written instructions and record results.

Local candidates based in Billings, Montana are preferred. You will work with Radiographers to perform tests, document results, and carry out related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Technical background desired and ability to obtain credentials per regulations.
• Based in Billings, MT with local availability.
• Must pass background check and have driving record meeting standards; IRRSP and TWIC or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carry equipment and other tasks
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
