Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. You’ll help set up inspections and ensure safety and efficiency in operations across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes learning, safety, and hands-on experience in UT/MT/PT/RT testing environments with opportunities for growth into more advanced inspection or technical roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check required.
• Willingness to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other site credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in varied industrial environments only.
• Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and varying schedules.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong safety mindset and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiographic safety practices and secure work areas where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites and maintain inventory control.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other required documentation.
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
