Job summary

Acuren is seeking Full Time Nested NDT Assistants to support operations in Bellingham, Washington. Local candidates within 30 miles are preferred to meet role needs and ensure timely support for field operations.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers with calibrations, conducting tests for defect detection, and recording results. A strong safety and compliance mindset is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred; technical background helpful.
• Must be able to obtain credentials and pass background checks for regulatory compliance.
• Based in Bellingham, WA or within 30 miles of the city.

Responsibilities

• Set up and use NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers with calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist in tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Record inspection results.
• Carry equipment and perform related tasks as assigned by management.
