Acuren is hiring Full Time Nested NDT Assistants to support operations in Bellingham, Washington. Local candidates within 30 miles are preferred due to role requirements.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers, performing tests to detect defects, and recording inspection results. Certifications and safety training are valued, with background checks and driving standards required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must pass background check per federal/state regulations
• MV driving record must meet company standards
• 40RAD training preferred
• TWIC: valid or able to obtain
• IRRSP card required
• Based in Bellingham, WA or within 30 miles

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment
• Perform other job tasks as assigned by management
