Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Kinston, NC seeks an experienced NDI Technician to support aerospace integrity through Ultrasonic Testing and other NDI methods.

You will inspect materials and components, set up and calibrate NDI equipment, interpret results, and document findings in accordance with engineering standards. You will mentor trainees and contribute to audits, emphasizing safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related NDI/NDT experience.
• UT Level I Certification with 40 hours of formal Level I training.
• UT Level II Certification with 40 hours of formal Level II training.
• Proof of 800+ hours of Ultrasonic Testing On-the-Job Training (OJT).
• NAS 410 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive inspections on materials, components, and systems utilizing UT, ET, radiography, and other techniques.
• Set up, calibrate, standardize, and operate NDI equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate parts for acceptance or rejection per engineering specs and quality standards.
• Interpret inspection results and document findings accurately.
