Job summary

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline with ABET-aligned curriculum or equivalent coursework.

Responsibilities

• Conducts fundamental and applied NDE research using eddy current, ultrasound, x-ray, micro and millimeter wave, and thermography methods.
• Characterizes material state and microstructure through NDE experiments and measurements.
• Develops models and analysis approaches including multi-physics modeling, signal processing, and data analytics for forward simulations and inversion of NDE data.
• Leads contracted research management across programs from basic to advanced development.
• Produces contractual documentation and evaluates technical proposals.
