Job summary

The Boeing Company in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a motivated Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer to join our Composite Materials and Nondestructive Evaluation Team. This role supports non-destructive inspection of composites and metals across fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms, with potential for career growth in technical leadership or management.

Level 2/3 candidates should have 1+ years of NDE experience or more, and a Bachelor of Science in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 1+ years of experience working in Nondestructive Evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or define requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in design, manufacture and maintenance of products.
• Draft or produce engineering specifications and other documents to manage deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes.
• Interface across multiple engineering teams to align on inspection requirements and capabilities, inspection feasibility, design for inspection, inspection method selection, and interpretation and evaluation of data.
• Support NDE equipment certification and qualification.
• Develop and deploy new inspection processes including standardization, documentation and training.
