Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking an engineer to own production NDE methods for additively manufactured spaceflight hardware and to drive the NDE inspection development across design, manufacturing, and operations.

You will work with the PBF team, materials lab staff, and NDE specialists to enable robust inspection and qualification of AM parts. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge across welding, AM, and post-processing, with collaboration across design, manufacturing, and leadership

Qualifications

Must apply engineering fundamentals to achieve practical manufacturing outcomes.
Direct experience with AM hardware for aerospace/propulsion is preferred.
Familiarity with traditional manufacturing processes is expected.

Responsibilities

Own production NDE methods for AM spaceflight hardware.
Own NDE inspection development from initial problem to implementation and improvement with cross-functional teams.
Develop feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans for NDE changes.
Inform drawing requirements for NDE methods on AM hardware.
Interface with PBF team, materials lab, NDE personnel, supply chain, and factory teams.
