Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach is seeking an NDE-focused engineer to own production NDE methods for additively manufactured spaceflight hardware. You will drive inspection development from problem statement to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable rapid iteration and reliable parts.

Work with NDE Level 3s and engineers to develop feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans, and translate findings into drawing requirements and process improvements for AM

Qualifications

• Experience with non-destructive evaluation methods for AM hardware.
• Ability to translate inspection results into design and process improvements.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Own production NDE methods applicable to AM spaceflight hardware.
• Own the NDE inspection development process from problem statement to implementation and improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Work with NDE Level 3s and engineers to develop feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans for NDE changes.
