Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking dedicated NDE Coordinators for travel during Oct/Nov 2026 turnarounds based out of Gulf Regional HQ in La Porte, TX. A High School diploma or GED and trained NDT credentials are required.

Candidates must be able to travel to multiple sites and support inspection operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing tests with NDT techniques, reviewing results, and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Degree
• Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A (MT/PT/UTT)
• Prior NDE Level II certification with 1 year experience or Level I with hours to reach Level II per SNT-TC1A

Responsibilities

• Manage inspection operations
• Review test results
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Set up and calibrate equipment
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques
• Interpret, evaluate and document results
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I
• Be familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents controlling the method
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Analyze information and present numerical data
