Job summary

Security Services Northwest, Inc. is hiring a part-time NDA Security Officer in Tukwila, WA. Candidates must have 8-10 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military backgrounds, and must be available for graveyard shifts and weekends. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $32.00.

Successful candidates will perform duties including acting as a visual deterrent, monitoring activities, and completing daily reports. Candidates are required to hold a valid Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License and must demonstrate integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have 8-10 years of combined experience in Security, Police Force, or Military.
• Experience with knowledge of security protocols and equipment required.
• Smartphone to access scheduling, clocking, and reporting apps.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
• Monitor activities and ensure safety.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).

Skills

Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License

Valid driver’s license

Clean criminal and driving record

8-10 years of combined experience in Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security

Availability to work graveyards and weekends

Honesty and Integrity

Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education

$32.00 hourly rate of pay.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Monitor activities
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Work with local law enforcement and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following department procedures
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders

Required Skills/Abilities

• Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean criminal and driving record
• EMT background a huge plus
• 8-10 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred
• Smartphone to access scheduling, clocking, and reporting apps
• Availability to work graveyards and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Honesty and Integrity
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 8-10 years of experience as a police officer, military police officer, or extensive security officer background
• Knowledge of security protocols and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
