Job summary

Riverhills Neuroscience is seeking an NCV/EMG Technician for the Norwood Office. The role involves rooming patients, preparing them for exams, and assisting during NCV and EMG procedures.

You will collect patient history, document findings, and manage lab results and notes. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or nights, at our Norwood location.

Qualifications

• EMR experience required.
• 1 year NCV/EMG experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for exams.
• Collect and document patient history.
• Administer NCV tests.
• Assist physicians with EMG tests.
• Obtain lab results, testing reports, and hospital notes.
• Maintain exam and procedure rooms and equipment.

Responsibilities

As an NCV/EMG Technician at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
• Collecting and documenting patient history
• Administering Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) tests
• Assisting physicians with Electromyography (EMG) tests
• Obtaining lab results, testing reports, and hospital notes
• Maintaining exam rooms, procedure rooms, and equipment according to protocol
• Other duties as assigned

Background And Experience

• EMR experience required
