American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support clinical operations across urgent care settings. You will assist physicians, manage patient registration, and help with nursing duties as needed while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, operating imaging equipment, processing images, and ensuring timely lab and radiology tasks, with cross-training to MA and front desk roles.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• EHR system experience is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.
• Experity EMR experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for physician reading.
• Rotate among lab, nursing, and x-ray services.
• Draw blood and perform basic lab tests.
• Maintain daily logs and patient records.
• Ensure timely completion of ordered tests.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when needed.
