Job summary

West Coast University seeks a nursing education leader to drive the NCLEX Success Plan and oversee faculty coordinating and students at risk. The role focuses on improving NCLEX performance and ensuring curriculum aligns with licensure requirements.

Requires a Master’s in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), BRN approval to teach pre-licensure content, and current RN licensure with CPR. This is a full-time on-site position in California with a strong commitment to student success and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of employment.
• Board of Registered Nursing approval to teach a pre-licensure content area before assuming manager role.
• Current CPR card.
• Minimum of one year nursing clinical patient care experience within last five years.
• Minimum of three years teaching nursing-related courses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NCLEX Success Plan and develop strategies to improve NCLEX testing for the nursing program.
• Evaluate effectiveness of initiatives and propose curriculum developments to address NCLEX subject matter areas.
• Oversee, supervise and manage NCLEX Faculty Coordinators and Students at Risk for NCLEX failure; mentor faculty.
• Conduct remediation workshops and ensure graduates pass NCLEX with state-average or higher first-time pass rates.
