Job summary

Third Coast Bank is seeking an experienced nCino Administrator to manage the nCino Bank Operating System built on Salesforce. The role focuses on configuration, maintenance, and optimization to meet banking and financial services needs, supporting end users and ongoing system improvements.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure data handling, effective automation, and regulatory compliance while delivering training and documentation for users.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as an nCino administrator or similar role.

• nCino Certified Administrator preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

The nCino Administrator is responsible for managing nCino as it’s built on the Salesforce platform. This includes configuration, maintenance, and optimizing the nCino Bank Operating System, ensuring it’s tailored to meet the organization’s banking and financial services needs. This role involves supporting end-users, managing system updates, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business processes within the nCino platform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• System configuration and customization: Configure and customize the nCino platform, including loan lifecycle management, automation, Salesforce features such as objects, fields, page layouts, and, validation rules, document management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• User Support and Training: Provide day-to-day support to nCino users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems. Conduct end user training sessions and create documentation to ensure proper usage.
• Data Management: Manage the integration of data into and out of nCino including data imports, exports, and regular data maintenance tasks (e.g. deduplication, updating records), oversee data integrity, quality and consistency.
• Security and Access Control: Manage user permissions, profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure that data privacy and access controls are maintained.
• Automation: Design and implement automated workflows, approvals, and tasks using nCino’s built-in tools, ensuring streamlined operations across departments like lending, risk, and compliance.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within the nCino platform to provide insights into loan performance, operational efficiency, and compliance.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that nCino configurations align with legal, regulatory, and security requirements. Manage user roles, permissions, and data security protocols to protect sensitive financial data.
• Integration and System Updates: Monitor, test, and implement nCino & Salesforce system updates, patches, and new features, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to business operations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, business teams, and vendors to integrate nCino with other enterprise systems (e.g. core banking system) and resolve any technical issues relates to integrations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of new features and functionality with Salesforce and nCino and the broader financial services technology landscape. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance platform performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Solid understanding of data integration methods, including API and file-based integrations.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Type:

This is a full-time /non-exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Travel:

Occasional travel may be required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This position requires regular sitting, walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), reading, seeing (including color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus), speaking, hearing, listening, organizing, interpreting data and information, operating office equipment, typing using a computer keyboard and mouse, viewing a computer screen monitor, and use of a telephone. The working environment consists of an indoor and climate-controlled setting most of the time.

Education, Experience & Other Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS or IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years proven experience as an nCino administrator or in a similar role.
• nCino Certified Administrator highly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, as nCino is built on the Salesforce platform, including knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
• Knowledge of the nCino platform, including its modules for loan origination, servicing, document management, and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with banking processes, lending workflows, and financial products such as commercial and consumer loans, credit, risk, and compliance is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Workflow, Process Builder, Lightening, and Flow
• Experience with data management, security models, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange applications and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must have a solution mindset, project-oriented, desire to learn and upskill, dynamic and adapt to change well.
