Job summary

BuzzClan is seeking a Technical Specialist to serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Endevor, IMS, JCL, and knowledge of Z/OS and SQL. Experience with MQ middleware is a plus.

This role requires working with application developers and IT teams to ensure robust mainframe operations. The candidate should bring 7+ years of hands-on experience in z/OS environments, release management, and SQL optimization to drive performance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
• Ability to provide configuration management / release management support for Endevor software
• Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
• Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
• Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries
• CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel

Responsibilities
