Turner Industries seeks NCCER certified Boilermakers / Pipefitters for the Baton Rouge, LA area. The role lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing systems.

Non-exempt; reports to the Foreman; duties per procedures with frequent supervision. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma, NCCER certification, 1–4 years experience, rigging, and ability to read drawings and use basic shop tools.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Must have NCCER certification.
• 1–4 years of experience depending on level.
• Proficient in construction tool use and pipefitting tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use tape measure and framing square.

Responsabilités

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems.
• Join pipes by threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, or welded joints.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure safety compliance.
• Read field drawings and follow engineering sketches.
• Follow safety policies and supervisor guidance.
