Job summary

The NCCCO Certified Crane Operator will safely operate mobile and truck-mounted cranes to lift, place, and set structures and equipment on project sites in Texas. You will comply with load charts, set up cranes, perform pre-operational inspections, and coordinate with riggers and signalpersons with the substation crew.

Based at project sites and reporting to the Foreman, this role requires 3+ years of crane operating experience, NCCCO certification, and the ability to travel to job sites as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current NCCCO certification for crane types.
• Minimum 3 years crane operating experience.
• Ability to read load charts and calculate loads.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, truck-mounted, rough terrain, and carry deck cranes within load chart limits.
• Set up crane, deploy outriggers, verify level and stability.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and document findings.
• Coordinate with riggers and signalpersons using standard signals.
• Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA and client policies.
• Support substation crew when not lifting.
