Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company seeks an NCCCO Crane Operator for our Naples, TX Tank Project. The role requires CCO certification and involves operating large lattice boom and RT cranes as part of heavy industrial construction.

You will perform daily safety inspections, repair cranes, and complete tickets, on a 6-month assignment with a 5/10 schedule, with per diem eligibility for travel beyond 60 miles.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification required.
• At least 3 years experience as a Crane/Equipment operator.
• Must be able to complete all pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lift and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis and repair as needed.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning and complete job tickets and paperwork.
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane and extend/retract boom as required.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy and follow signals from helper.

Graywolf is seeking an NCCCO Crane Operator for our Naples, TX Tank Project. CCO certification is required. Per diem >60 miles from project site. Anticipated duration 6 months working a 5/10 schedule.

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lifting everything from structural steel to equipment used in Barging operations.
• Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Repair crane as needed.
• Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.
• Bolt boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Operate crane according to signals from helper.

Qualifications:

• NCCCO certification based on equipment being operated
• At least 3 years experience as a Crane/Equipment operator.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
