Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a skilled NCCCO Crane Operator for our Naples, TX Tank Project. The role requires NCCCO certification and at least 3 years of crane/equipment operation experience.

The assignment is about 6 months with a 5/10 schedule and per diem for travel >60 miles from the site. The operator will inspect, operate, and repair cranes, load and position heavy objects, and complete site paperwork.

Qualifications

• CCCO certification required for the equipment operated.
• Minimum 3 years of Crane/Equipment operator experience.
• Must pass all pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lift and move heavy loads including structural steel and equipment.
• Inspect crane for safety issues daily and perform routine maintenance/repairs.
• Read and interpret signals; follow helper instructions for crane movement.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all required paperwork.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing during lifts and ensure safe operation.

Graywolf is seeking an NCCCO Crane Operator for our Naples, TX Tank Project. CCO certification is required. Per diem >60 miles from project site. Anticipated duration 6 months working a 5/10 schedule.

Essential Duties:

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lifting everything from structural steel to equipment used in Barging operations.
• Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Repair crane as needed.
• Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.
• Bolt boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Operate crane according to signals from helper.

Qualifications:

• NCCCO certification based on equipment being operated
• At least 3 years experience as a Crane/Equipment operator.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
