Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking an NCCCO-certified crane operator for our Naples, TX tank project. The role requires 3+ years of crane experience, operating large lattice boom and RT cranes, with daily safety inspections and paperwork completion. Per diem applies to locations over 60 miles from the project site.

Anticipated duration is 6 months on a 5/10 schedule. Candidate must pass pre-employment requirements and be able to work in a heavy industrial construction

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification required for the equipment operated.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a crane/equipment operator.
• Must meet all pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lift and place machinery and equipment at sites and facilities.
• Inspect crane and repair as needed; ensure daily safety checks.
• Control crane movement per signals and written instructions.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload; setup blocks and outriggers.
• Complete job tickets and quality summaries; record paperwork.

Graywolf is seeking an NCCCO Crane Operator for our Naples, TX Tank Project. CCO certification is required. Per diem >60 miles from project site. Anticipated duration 6 months working a 5/10 schedule.

• Operate 200-330T lattice boom or 75T-130T RT cranes as needed for construction.
• Lifting everything from structural steel to equipment used in Barging operations.
• Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Repair crane as needed.
• Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.
• Bolt boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Operate crane according to signals from helper.

Qualifications:

• NCCCO certification based on equipment being operated
• At least 3 years experience as a Crane/Equipment operator.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
