Job summary

Irby Construction Company in Georgia is seeking a NCCCO Crane Operator to join our field team. You will operate cranes up to 250 tons, perform daily inspections, and assist in erection, dismantling, and lifting plans.

This is a field-based position requiring outdoor work, climbing into equipment, and occasional overtime, nights, weekends, and travel to meet project needs. A CDL Class A and strict safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• NCCCO crane certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of crane experience.
• Field-based role requiring outdoor work.
• Overtime, nights, weekends and travel may be required.
• Background check is required.
• Commercial Driver License Class A is required.
• Mechanical skills with small engines/hydraulic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate crane during loading/unloading of materials.
• Conduct daily crane inspections and safety checklists.
• Assist in erection/dismantling/setup of the crane.
• Assist in calculating load weights and creating lift plans.
• Uphold a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
