Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a NCCCO Crane Operator in Georgia to safely operate heavy lifting equipment and support our field teams. This field-based role requires crane operation experience up to 250 tons, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

You'll perform daily crane inspections, assist in erection and dismantling, and ensure loads are calculated and lifted safely. CDL Class A is required, with a strong safety mindset and commitment to productive teamwork.

Qualifications

• NCCCO crane certification required.
• Minimum 2 years crane operating experience.
• Must be able to work outdoors and lift heavy equipment in all weather.
• CDL Class A may be required depending on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials.
• Daily inspection of the condition of the crane and complete safety checklists.
• Participate in the erection / dismantling / setup of the crane.
• Assist in the calculation of load weights and the generation of critical lift plans.
• Perform all assigned roles and tasks in the safest possible manner.
