Job summary

Irby Construction Company in Georgia is seeking a NCCCO Crane Operator to safely operate cranes up to 250 tons, perform daily inspections, and assist in erecting and dismantling lifts on field sites.

This field-based position requires CDL Class A, at least 2 years of crane experience, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and willingness to overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• NCCCO crane certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of crane operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials.
• Daily inspection of the crane and completion of safety checklists.
• Participate in erection/dismantling/setup of the crane and assist in lift planning.
• Assist in calculating load weights and generating lift plans.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
