Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Crane Operator in Plaquemine, LA, to operate various cranes and other equipment on construction sites. This role requires NCCCO certification and adherence to safety and rigging standards.

Reporting to the Foreman or Site Manager, you will perform routine maintenance and follow site procedures. Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, be able to pass pre-employment screenings, and comply with company safety policies.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification required.
• Must be able to operate both small and large hydraulic swing cab cranes.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance.
• Knowledge of current rigging inspection color codes.

Responsibilities

• Move levers to control diesel, electric, or steam-powered equipment.
• Interpret hand signals and load charts to position materials.
• Read and interpret load charts; assemble/disassemble equipment as needed.
• Perform rigging inspections and ensure proper color codes.
• Follow supervisor directions and site safety requirements.
