Job summary

Turner Industries in Plaquemine, LA seeks a NCCCO-certified Crane Operator to move materials and operate various cranes on site. The role requires adherence to safety practices and strict compliance with rigging standards.

Responsibilities include operating cranes, interpreting load charts, signaling, and basic preventive maintenance while following site procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification is required.
• Must be able to operate both small and large hydraulic swing cab cranes.
• Knowledge of rigging inspection color codes.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel, electric, or gasoline-powered equipment and interpret load charts.
• Follow hand signals and supervise movements of materials.
• May assemble/disassemble equipment and work on uneven surfaces.
• Perform basic maintenance such as greasing and oiling machines and ensure proper rigging inspection
