Job summary

New Castle Building Products is seeking a steady, highly-qualified Boom Operator / Driver for our Baltimore, MD location. You will transport material safely, load/unload at customer sites, and maintain equipment while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires articulated crane certification, NCCCO, CDL with Hazmat, OSHA 10, and prior building-materials experience. Strong customer service and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have Articulated Boom Crane or Knuckle Boom Certification.
• NCCCO certification required.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat Endorsement.
• OSHA 10 certified.
• Prior experience with building materials a plus.
• Detail- and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate boom to lift/move building materials to top of building or from trucks to ground.
• Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms to prevent malfunctions.
• Determine load weights and ensure they are within lifting capacities.
• Maintain mechanisms such as cables/pulleys; perform repairs as needed.
• Operate forklift safely and use safety equipment.
