Job summary

New Castle Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Boom Operator/Driver for their East Elmhurst location. In this role, you will safely transport materials, operate a boom, and engage in warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate must have an Articulated Boom Crane or Knuckle Boom Certification, NCCCO certification, and at least 2 years of CDL Class A or B experience. The position offers competitive pay, ranging from $29.00 to $36.00 per hour based on qualifications and union contract.

Qualifications

• MUST have Articulated Boom Crane or Knuckle Boom Certification.
• NCCCO certified.
• Prior experience in building materials is a plus.
• At least 2+ years Class A or B experience.
• CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport material to the client's location.
• Operate boom to lift and move building materials.
• Inspect crane mechanisms to prevent malfunctions.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain lifting mechanisms.
• Operate forklift safely with proper equipment.
