NCC Adjunct Faculty - Aviation Maintenance

Position Details:
- Adjunct teaching on a course-by-course basis, with a strong academic background required.
- Temporary appointments for specified contract periods, including classroom or online instruction.
Courses Offered in Fall 2025:
- Freshmen Class: General Aviation Maintenance Topics (Classes 1-2 days/week, 6-7 hours, 16 weeks)
- Seniors: Powerplant Topics (Classes 1-2 days/week, 7-8 hours, 16 weeks)
- Evening Class: Advanced Airframe Topics (Classes 1-2 days/week, 4-10 pm, or Saturdays 8 am-noon)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience: Six years in aviation technology teaching or military/FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
- Certification: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification.
Preferred Qualifications: FAA instructor experience, recent Air Traffic Control experience, adjunct teaching experience.
Salary Range: $800-$950 per contact hour, determined by faculty rank based on education and experience.
