Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Software Test & Evaluation Engineer to support mission-critical NC3 software modernization, deployment, and training for USSTRATCOM and the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. The role involves working with PMO, developers, and users to define training needs and develop materials.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Years of Experience: 12 or more years of relevant experience, including 5 years of DoD experience.
• Required Experience: 1 year of Operational Test experience, 2 years of training development experience, 2 years of NC3 system hands-on operational experience, 1 year of experience in Agile/DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides test support during all phases of SMPES software and system modernization.
• Evaluates delivered software capabilities against operational mission tasks and responsibilities.
• Develops and maintains SMPES test plans and strategies to support USSTRATCOM testing priorities.
• Provides operational test and training expertise to leadership and stakeholders.
• Supports SMPES Product Owner for development and modernization efforts.
• Develops operational scenarios for training and test events.
• Produces after-action reports for SMPES test events.
• Attends meetings to support capability development and modernization.
• Drafts and updates operational training materials for SMPES capability development.
• Delivers training on SMPES capabilities to operational user organizations.
