Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a NC Route Operator responsible for performing all NC drilling functions in a PCB manufacturing environment at our Costa Mesa, CA facility. The role requires operating Excellon & Hitachi drill machines, PCB X-Ray equipment, laser drilling and XRT tooling, as well as NC routing in manual and auto modes.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of drilling/routing experience, understand travelers and tolerances, and be proficient with measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years experience in drilling and routing operations.
• Understanding process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances.
• Experience in lamination operation.
• Good written and oral communications skills.
• Sanmina experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excellon & Hitachi drill machines and PCB X-Ray equipment in the drill area.
• Run NC routing equipment in manual and automatic mode.
• Make necessary scale and step changes as required.
• Experience fabrication, planarization and lamination and drilling.
• Measure line width, spacing, cut-outs, routed features and overall part sizes using micrometers, dial calipers or scopes.

NC Route Operator

Job Purpose

Performs all NC Drill functions required in a PCB Manufacturing environment

Nature Of Duties

• Must be able to operate Excellon & Hitachi Drill machines, PCB X-Ray equipment, Laser drill and (XRT) X-Ray tooling equipment in Drill area.
• In addition the candidate must be able to run NC routing equipment both in manual and automatic mode.
• Must also be able to make necessary scale and step changes when required.
• This position will require experience in Fabrication, Planarization and Lamination and Drilling.
• Must be experienced in using measuring devices (micrometers and dial calipers) and or scopes to measure the line width, spacing, cut-outs, routed features and overall product sizes of the product being processed.

Education And Experience

• A minimum of 2-4 years experience in the Drilling and routing operations is required.
• The candidate must understand process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances specified on travelers or blueprints.
• In addition the candidate must have working experience in the lamination operation
• must have good written and oral communications skills

Salary Range (annual)

$43,680.00 - $49,608.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
