Job description

NC Programmer - FLRAA

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job ID: #70666

Pay Range: $40-70 per hour
NO C2C

Note: Onsite Only. 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm. Work may increase to a 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am).

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provides programming for numerically controlled production, tooling programs, and Manufacturing Development Projects. Creates graphical or mathematical representations of parts, tools, and fixtures within specified tolerances. Collaborates with engineering personnel to modify designs as needed. Maintains follow-up on programs and supports Manufacturing Operations. Requires knowledge of Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing, and NC Programming processes.
  2. Maintains complete documentation of programs for process control. May create tooling sketches, NC setup sheets, dimensional charts, and machine operation diagrams. Determines efficient methods for lofting and fabricating using NC methods, especially for complex sheet metal tasks.
  3. Capable of managing multiple assignments and estimating costs and hours. Able to direct the workflow of other team members regarding specific programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Mills and Lathes (must be visible on resume).
  • Proficiency in Catia V-5 modeling and surfacing.
  • NC Programming experience.
Experience & Other Requirements
  • Two years of college or equivalent experience, preferably in:
  • Mathematics (including Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry).
  • Engineering materials, Processing Technology, Manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Training in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.
