Job summary

tk Accelis Materials, NA is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to support our production operations. You will develop and maintain CNC programs, optimize material usage, and collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

The role supports operational excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on accuracy and program integrity across the CNC database.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
  • College certificate or technical training in a related field, or 3+ years of NC/CNC programming experience.
  • Experience creating and modifying CNC programs and nesting layouts.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing software.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain NC programs for CNC machines.
  • Develop nesting layouts to maximize material yield and minimize waste.
  • Identify tooling requirements to support production.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to obtain deviations when tooling limitations impact customer requirements.
  • Maintain integrity, accuracy, and control of the CNC program database.
  • Update and revise programs based on engineering, production, or customer requirements.
  • Partner with production supervisors and operators to improve program efficiency and manufacturing performance.
  • Support shop floor planning and production scheduling activities.
  • Create technical drawings and documentation for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure work areas meet 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in quality, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Job Summary

tk Accelis Materials, NA is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to provide programming support to our production operations. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and initiate tooling requirements as needed to support production.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to obtain deviations when tooling limitations impact customer requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming systems.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of tooling design and optimization.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Job Compensation

Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills.
