Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Engineering Technician to design, program, and verify NC machine setups and fixtures. You will collaborate with Production and Quality teams to solve complex problems that keep operations running smoothly.

Day to day, you will train operators, create and verify programs, model new parts, and support process improvements. You’ll maintain an organized tool crib, map layouts for new equipment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree preferred.
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • 1–3 years NC machine operation experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong geometric and trigometric problem-solving abilities.
  • Good measuring skills and blueprint reading capability.
  • Excellent communication and conversational English.
  • Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and verify NC machine setups and fixtures.
  • Train production operators in machine operations.
  • Troubleshoot machining and welding challenges and drive improvements.
  • Model new parts and implement design changes (rev updates).
  • Support Manufacturing Engineer on various projects and process enhancements.
  • Keep the tool crib organized and maintain clean, safe workspaces.
  • Help map spaces for new equipment and coordinate with other departments.
