Job summary

Decore in Monroe, NC is seeking a material handler for the day shift to move components on conveyors, receive wood from the dimension mill, and stack frames. You will perform quality checks on bundles and maintain a clean, organized work area while following PPE requirements.

This on-site role requires English literacy, teamwork, basic math, and the ability to work well in a diverse crew. Prior experience is encouraged, and the position offers benefits and daily duties consistent with a

• Move processed components from one operation to another on conveyors or carts.
• Receive wood from dimension mill and stack the frame on cart and shelf.
• Quality checks for the department on the bundle received for dimension mill.

Performs any of the following tasks inspect, distribute materials, load and/or unload material as directed.

Essential Functions:

• Move processed components from one operation to another on conveyors or carts
• Receive wood from dimension mill and stack the frame on cart and shelf.
• Quality checks for the department on the bundle received for dimension mill.
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn
• Keeps area clean and organized
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing (8-9 hours daily), bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
