Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services seeks an Engineering Technician to design, program, and verify NC machine setups and fixtures. You will train operators, solve machining challenges, and contribute to process improvements on cross-functional teams.

With 1–3 years in NC machine operations and a strong foundation in geometry, you’ll read blueprints, measure parts precisely, and support manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience; lean techniques a plus.
• 1–3 years NC machine operations experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Geometric and trig problem solving skills.
• Strong measuring skills.
• Blueprint reading proficiency.
• Team-oriented with strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create and verify programs and setups for NC machines.
• Train production employees in machine operations.
• Resolve machining and welding challenges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Model new parts and revise changes.
• Support the Manufacturing Engineer on various projects.
• Guide the team to meet project goals.
• Maintain the tool crib in an organized manner.
• Assist in space planning for new equipment.
• Keep workspace orderly and safe.
• Deliver high-quality results to internal and external partners.
• Collaborate flexibly with other departments as needed.
