Job summary

NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Test Scripts Writer to support development and implementation of NC FAST O&M modules. You will analyze requirements, develop test conditions and scripts, and execute automated and manual tests using qTest, Tosca, and NeoLoad.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• 5 years experience with requirements analysis and automated test cases/script development.
• 5 years experience with manual or automated testing, test plans and reviewing test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills to interact with developers and analysts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks within the project and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Stable work history.
• Experience with testing Curam products.
• 1+ year health and human services project experience (highly desired).
• 1+ year writing and executing SQL to validate tests.
• 6 months UNIX navigation experience.
• 6 months Tosca automation scripting experience.
• 6 months Jira & SharePoint experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for testability and completeness using Functional Specs, BRDs and Technical Design Docs.
• Develop test conditions, cases and scripts from requirements.
• Develop and execute scripts using qTest to thoroughly test software and ensure correct operation.
• Automate test scripts using Tosca.
• Review test cases and other artifacts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate testing, report and track issues with reproducible test cases.
• Collaborate with product team to diagnose and reproduce problems and implement solutions.
