Job summary

OST Workforce seeks a Test Scripts Writer to support NC FAST Project O&M modules with analysis of requirements and development of test scripts. The role involves testing software, coordinating with the team, and ensuring quality artifacts are complete and accurate.

The candidate will develop and execute scripts using qTest and automate with Tosca, while reviewing test cases and artifacts and contributing to data analysis per project plan.

Qualifications

• Experience and proficiency in using test tools qTest including TOSCA, NeoLoad.
• Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• Experience with requirements analysis and automated test case development.
• Experience with manual or automated testing, test plans, and reviewing test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills with developers and analysts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with testing Curam products is a plus.
• Health and human services project testing experience is desirable.
• Experience writing and executing SQL to validate or test is desirable.
• Experience navigating UNIX platforms and Tosca automation scripts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for testability and completeness from specification documents.
• Develop test conditions, cases and scripts from requirements.
• Develop and execute scripts using qTest and automate with TOSCA.
• Review test artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate testing, report and track problems with reproducible test cases.
• Work with product team to diagnose, reproduce, prioritize and implement fixes.
• Perform data collection and analysis for testing per project plan.
