Job summary

Common Cause seeks a Development Associate to support fundraising and donor engagement across North Carolina. The role reports to the Development Director, NC, and requires travel within the state (at least 4 days per month).

The position starts in October and is full-time, with a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves coordinating with teams to implement fundraising strategies, performing donor prospect research, drafting communications, and maintaining donor records in the ROI CRM.

Responsibilities

• Support Development Director in fundraising strategy execution.
• Assist with donor prospect research and portfolio briefs.
• Draft donor communications and stewardship materials.
• Plan and support NC-based fundraising events and logistics.
• Maintain donor records in the ROI CRM and track data.
• Support the Planned Giving program with research and coordination.
• Collaborate with program, communications, and leadership teams to align campaigns.
