Zusammenfassung

Inspected is expanding into North Carolina and seeks qualified Building Inspectors to perform field inspections for residential and commercial construction to ensure compliance with the NC State Building Code and approved plans.

As one of the first NC team members, you will travel to inspection sites, document results in Permit Hub, and help establish Inspected's presence in the state, working closely with experienced NC inspectors.

Qualifikationen

• Current North Carolina COQB Building Inspector certificate at Level I, II, or III or eligibility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of COQB Law and Administration course and Building Standard Inspection course/exam
• Relevant education/experience meeting NCAC 08.0706 for certification level
• Valid NC driver's license and ability to travel across NC service area
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets, Permit Hub, email and electronic docs
• Strong judgment and professional communication skills
• Background checks and municipality registrations may be required

Aufgaben

• Perform building inspections within NC COQB certification type/level
• Compare work against approved plans and NC State Building Code
• Inspect foundations, framing, fire-resistance, means of egress and accessibility
• Prepare electronic inspection reports in Permit Hub with code references
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate corrections clearly to contractors
