Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide advisement support to an assigned group of students through degree completion.
• Explain policies and assist students in selecting educational goals and career paths.
• Assist with registration; verify prerequisites.
• Maintain records/files on advising activities and student information.
• Maintain accurate tracking data and notes for each student; refer as needed.
• Organize periodic events and programs for students, faculty, and staff.
• Stay current on trends in academic advising.
• Publicize and promote college services and activities.
