Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Test Engineer to evaluate software developed for the Department of Navy. You will create test plans, write test cases, and use automated and manual testing to ensure reliability and quality.

You will document results, communicate defects, and help improve tools for large-scale defense systems. Responsibilities include monitoring ICADS health, writing test code, and coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining security clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting testing and evaluation of Navy systems in a lab environment.
• Experience developing test procedures for Navy system implementations.
• Experience coordinating Navy project testing with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree. TS/SCI clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories.
• Use automated and manual testing to generate data and execute test cases.
• Observe software performance and document results.
• Communicate defects to developers for fixes.
• Develop test code and automate security and performance testing.
• Monitor health of the ICADS system and contribute to defense software solutions.
