Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Test Engineer to evaluate software developed for the Department of Navy. You will create test plans, write test cases, and use automated and manual testing to ensure reliability and quality.
You will document results, communicate defects, and help improve tools for large-scale defense systems. Responsibilities include monitoring ICADS health, writing test code, and coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining security clearances.

As a test engineer on our team, you’ll evaluate software developed for the Department of Navy. Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, generate data, implement the test cases, observe software performance, document results, and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing, monitor the health of the ICADS system, and write test code. This is an opportunity to broaden your experience with large‑scale systems while sharing your testing experience with the team. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Salary will be determined at hiring.
