Job summary

Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated co-ops to work on Linux-based computer engineering projects for state-of-the-art training systems. The rotation begins January 2027 and runs through August 2027, with subsequent rotations available.

Co-ops gain hands-on experience assembling, configuring, testing, and building Linux system images in a secure environment supporting Navy simulation and training programs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering with a 3.2 GPA.
• Solid Linux and computer engineering fundamentals.
• US citizenship required and able to obtain interim Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and cable computer-based systems.
• Configure servers and perform integration testing.
• Develop Linux system images and power management scripts.
• Contribute to system foundation components in a Linux environment.
