Job summary

Kalman and Company is seeking a Program Manager to lead a DoD Navy shipboard engineering and readiness program in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage 160+ personnel across multiple sites, coordinate CONUS/OCONUS activities, and ensure compliance with DoD and NAVSEA requirements.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a current Secret clearance, and 5+ years leading Navy engineering or shipboard alteration projects. Expect extensive travel, budget oversight, and process improvements using Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility for access to classified information up to TOP SECRET.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading U.S. Navy engineering or shipboard alteration installation projects.
  • Direction of teams of 100+ full-time personnel.
  • Experience with Chemical Biological Defense, Damage Control, or Navy systems.
  • Experience managing ISO 9001 QMS and developing QAPP.
  • Familiarity with CDRLs and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
  • Ability to lead large-scale physical inventory and location audits, configuration management, and technical data integrity efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a multi-site program with 160+ personnel.
  • Coordinate activities across CONUS and OCONUS sites; travel as required.
  • Provide senior-level leadership for U.S. Navy engineering projects and shipboard alteration installations.
  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, inventory control, maintenance planning, training, scheduling, and quality assurance functions.
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support complex program planning and execution.
  • Prepare fiscal year budget estimates and scenario-based cost projections.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Significant CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required to support fleet readiness and reviews.
