Qualifications

• Significant naval shipboard work experience supporting U.S. Navy surface ships.
• Experience with maintaining confidentiality and government information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SME representation for damage control, maintenance and modernization of ships.
• Plan and conduct DC Fire Safety Program inspections aboard surface platforms.
• Review guides and drills per NSTMs and NAVSEA manuals; ensure safety compliance.
• Submit weekly electronic action reports and track key event totals.
• Offer guidance to CNSL leadership and shipboard personnel on DC/Fire systems.
• Respond to inquiries during business hours and support shipboard visits.
• Support shipboard drills, training, and Crew Move Aboard assessments.
• Prepare after-action reports and document shipboard visits.
