Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting seeks a Mid-Level Training Specialist to support a U.S. Navy program office with training and development initiatives. You will lead programs, create materials, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to boost performance.

The role requires 5+ years in Navy training support, DoD SECRET eligibility, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel to client sites and conferences is expected. Eligible for security clearance and US-based travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience providing training and development support to U.S. Navy program offices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field from a US-accredited institution.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise training and development programs for employees and external customers to build skills and productivity.
• Plan and develop training programs by identifying needs within the organization.
• Create teaching materials, lesson plans, and issue completion certificates.
• Coordinate with onsite supervisors on performance improvement services.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings and events.
• Draft briefing materials and documents per Navy guidelines.
• Coordinate data calls and communicate inputs to leadership.
