Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts for the US Surface Navy, coordinating with customers and internal teams from Middletown, RI. The role emphasizes schedules, budgets, and DoD data deliverables to meet stringent requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and at least five years of management experience, including P&L. Occasional travel is required as part of project coordination.

Formación

• Be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiarity with software development projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
