Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Navy Safe Harbor Mobile Clinical Counselor (West) to provide non-medical counseling and crisis intervention on a full-time basis.

The role blends virtual and in-person work, with a rotating travel schedule and a hybrid caseload. The position requires graduate-level licensure in counseling or related fields, strong grief and loss expertise, and the ability to collaborate with Navy FFSP partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in grief and loss counseling.
• Master’s degree or doctoral-level licensure as listed; active credential required.
• Current, valid and unrestricted license/certification for independent clinical practice.
• Two years of post-master’s supervised clinical experience.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Able to travel to meet program needs across regions, including overnight travel.
• Flexible hours during events and public-facing duties.
• Must function professionally in high-visibility settings.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication; strong documentation habits.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telehealth platforms; dedicated telehealth workspace.
• Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of a military installation and able to work core hours.
• Must maintain compliance with DoN/DoD credentials throughout FFSP assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical counseling and crisis intervention at events and clinics.
• Deliver individual, couples, and group counseling across varied settings.
• Perform intake, screening, assessment, and referrals for follow-up.
• Maintain clinical records in FFSMIS and other applicable systems.
• Travel on short notice for surge support and regional deployments.
• Coordinate with Family Advocacy and SAPR resources as needed.
• Offer Psychological First Aid and safety planning during crises.
